Issues with stock charging systems:

• In many GEMs, Stock charging systems are only "single cycle" - that is they complete a single charging session and won't continue to charge or maintain a full GEM car charge. This makes it very difficult and inconvenient to keep batteries fully charged for an extended period of time. This results in a drastic reduction in battery life, particularly in vehicles that are stored during an off-season.

• In the event you have dead batteries, stock charging systems won't turn-on unless your batteries have a minimum charge. Almost every GEM car owner, at some time, has gone through the time-consuming  process of single charging each battery, just to get their stock charger to turn-on.

Ride-4-Fun has two options for owners of 2002-2004 GEM cars. We offer a rebuilt/upgrade option to your stock charger as well as the Ride-4-Fun's SuperCharger.

Zivan Upgrade Charger Option for 2002-2004 GEMs:

Ride-4-Fun's offers an upgraded Zivan charger. When you send your working or non-working core, we will provide you with a rebuilt replacement charger with the following options:

• Auto re-start feature to keep batteries fully charged for any length of storage time.

• 130 or 150 amp hour battery options.

• Selectable for either Gel or Lead Acid batteries.

For this option a core is required. Here's how the core program works:

1. Remove your working or non-working charger (see ZIvan charger removal video)

2. Send it to Ride-4-Fun. Please include a note with your contact information and indicate If your core is not working. 

3. Upon receipt of your core, you will be contacted for credit card or PayPal payment. If you prefer to pay by check, you may include a check with your core - please add $25 to cost below for shipping.

4. within 2-3 business days, a high performance replacement will be shipped from the Ride-4-Fun factory.
