In the design stages, the goal was to develop a door that offered all the features without compromising the Electric Vehicle styling. 

"Head turning" styling combined with cruising comfort on your hard door equipped  
 Gem.

Rugged Construction                                                   

Sleek lines and real strength. The multi step manufacturing process makes for a great, long lasting look. 

The process begins with a 16 gauge steel tubular frame. It is sent out for cleaning, and then finished with a glass exterior white baked powder coat finish. The panels are cut out of 22 gauge steel sheets which go through the same coating process. After all the components are individually finished, the panels are chemically adhered to the frame. This unique Ride-4-Fun process eliminates welding and offers the following advantages:

• Totally eliminates any uncoated spots between the panel and frame that can rust and drip on the car causing stains.
• Absolutely no warping caused by welding of the panels. The result is a "super smooth" look.
• The use of lightweight steel panels allows for a much more durable finish without added weight, as compared to what is available on aluminum panels. 
• Panels can be easily replaced in the unfortunate event of a vehicular accident.

For your safety and piece of mind, windows and doors lock in place with a positive locking mechanism that's easy to operate under all conditions. We don't believe that straps or magnets are appropriate for a premium hard door system.
